Talk has been circulating about a Vinecraft pokemon league. If this is something you'd be interested in feel free to let me know or e-mail vinecraft@gmail.com with your ideas. Since not everyone has a Nintendo DS we will be playing on pokemon lab. http://trac.poke-lab.com/

The original idea was to have the streamers be the gyms and the elite four but since there is no guarantee that any of the streamers will be any good I am taking apps for the gyms. Again, email the vinecraft email account, tell me your chat handle and what TYPE of gym you'd want to play as. People applying for the same element may have to fight over who gets the seat for the first season.

The league will divided up into seasons so more than just one person will have the opportunity to be gym leaders. How the gym leaders will be changed out will also likely be settled by battle.

A challenger will have to defeat all gym leaders (best 2 of 3) and Then the elite four. They can attempt gyms as many times as they want. Elite four must be completed in order without loss. The elite four is single elimination so one loss and your back to the start but only takes one win to fight next in line. If you possess all badges and beat elite four you will be crowned the League Champion. When the next person beats elite four they will then have to beat The League Champion. If all 5 battles are won in order without loss they become the new champion.

Gym leaders and challengers will have register teams which they cannot change untill the season is over or they forfeit all their badges. More info on this will be announced later.

Rules as of now are:
1. no uber tier pokemon (reference this: http://www.smogon.com/dp/tiers/)
2. Species clause (Only one of any species of pokemon)
3. Sleep Clause (Only one pokemon may be asleep at one time, the game automatically makes other attempt fail)
4. Freeze Clause (Same as Sleep but with frozen solid effect)
5. Evasion clause (Can't use any item/move that raises evasion)
6. Soul dew clause (can't use soul dew)
7. OHKO clause (No moves like fissure etc...)


Feel free to practice up while the rules are being hammered out. IF glueguy is on the server you can ask him to tp you to the Pokemon world in our smp. It isn't anything fantastic but talk is circulating about building an entire RP pokemon world complete with gyms.
